The series Amantes, lovers, represents Yanira's authentic style in the world of Modern and Contemporary Art. Here, Yanira says she maintains her figurative style but adds expression in the masses and volumes that characterize each Amante. She refers to the series as "Expressive Figurative." In the currently 18 sculptures, the hug represents love, and the volume represents the greatness of love. For the artists, Amantes expresses "the volume of Love."

"Love is evolution, and art is a perfect way to show it," Yanira says. For this reason the artist made Amantes evolve and created Familia, family, where their children are also included. Familia is also characterized by hugs and volumes.
